Black panther animal.

First of all: A "black panther" isn't its own particular species—it's an umbrella term that alludes to any enormous feline with a black coat. (Take in more about National Geographic's Big Cats Initiative.)

The condition is caused by the agouti quality, which directs the circulation of black shade inside the hair shaft, as indicated by the University of California, Davis. It's most notable in panthers, which live in Asia and Africa, and pumas, tenants of South America. (Household feline darlings may be intrigued to know the agouti quality doesn't cause black hide in house felines.)
